Fruit Ninja

Thanks to movies, comic books and cartoons now we can say we know all about the ninja. These are highly skilled warriors who practice ninjutsu, a martial art that blends fighting techniques and military strategy.

ninja move in the dark, silent, and their only goal is to complete the mission which has been allocated. To do so can use conventional weapons or solutions decidedly atypical, such as throwing knives and shuriken, not to mention the smoke. What we did not know until today, but the developers of Halfbrick Studios we were held to make public, is that the ninja ... hate fruit. Viscerally. At that point, a flutter when they see any result, can not help but slice with his sword. A story that can not stand? Sure, but now the kind of "super arcade"he used a little 'to everything, and ninja slicing fruit-fly does not make too much fuss.

Fruit Ninja is a simple game for the usual simple, affordable sum of 79 cents gives us two different modes characterized by the same type structure "survival" or a "dry lot"that can last a few seconds as hours, depending on the our ability and our luck. The game mode "native" places us in order to hit as many fruits as possible to establish a record and possibly compare it with our friends or with gamers around the world through the interesting features of the social network OpenFeint (increasingly popular titles for iPhone and iPod Touch).

We control the sword directly through a touch screen, drawing the slash in the way we please: put your fingers on the screen only when appropriate, with rapid and precise gestures, or maintaining the contact in a simpler way to intercept the targets. Various fruits appear from below and describe a random trajectory, which by the force of gravity brings them quickly to fall in the same direction. We need to slice, perhaps affecting more than one at a time, before they disappear from the screen. The game ends after missing three targets, or when you accidentally hit a bomb at a certain point they start to be thrown into the air along with the fruit. The second game mode, embedded with the latest update, it mixes a little 'cards on the table: there is no maximum number of errors that we commit, but a time limit within which affect the greatest number of fruits. At a technical level, Fruit Ninja has the usual scenario of alternating fixed on the various types of fruits which have the task of hitting, represented by polygonal models of good workmanship that react in a convincing way to "cut" and left on their virtual wall behind a splash of juice that changes shape depending on the strength and the degree of inclination of the blow.
